2011 Employee Appreciation Luncheon
On September 28th, 2011, we held our 15th Annual Employee Appreciation Luncheon at the Ramada Inn. Festivities included a presentation by David Denotaris, author and motivational speaker, Awards, and Prizes. The 21 Plus Community Partner Award was presented to Ocean First Foundation for their generosity.
Through the speeches and letters presented by parents and the video and photo presentation, the day was filled with inspiration, laughter and praise.
It’s hard to believe that another year has gone by and it’s time again to celebrate the employees of 21 Plus, Inc. On September 28th, 2011, we held our 15th Annual Employee Appreciation Luncheon at the Ramada Inn, serving a continental breakfast and buffet lunch. David Denotaris, author, motivational speaker, world class athlete who lost his sight at 18 years of age, enthralled the crowd with his take on overcoming obstacles, facing your fears and rebounding from setbacks. 
Many awards were given out at this event for years of service from 2 to 20 years, Above and Beyond Awards for working extra hours, All-Star/ peer nomination awards, and the 21 Plus Community Partner Award which was presented to Ocean First Foundation for their generosity.
Diane Hutton-Rose presented information from the College of Direct Support for direct care workers to build upon their career choice and learn techniques to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Through the speeches and letters presented by parents and the video and photo presentation, the day was filled with inspiration, laughter and praise.
To add fun to the festivities there were games and wonderful gift baskets.
This event would not be possible without the support of the 21 Plus Foundation Spring Appeal, the generosity of our Gift Basket Donors and the help of our very own Recruitment & Retention committee.
